The ethics guy quit. For 40 years our Office of Government Ethics was the gold standard of the world. That’s because past administrations cared about behaving ethically. As for the world, the G20 showed how they see us now. What a contrast to how our President introduced himself 40 years ago

It’s painful to watch America on the world stage, but we’re making progress.

CALL, WRITE, TWEET, POST

Healthcare work continues. As things come to a head let’s make it impossible for MoCs to turn away from ethics & values. Be part of the collective voice.

Calls to Ohio legislators worked! Legislators failed to override Gov. Kasich’s veto of the Medicaid expansion freeze. We’ll plug back into state work soon!

EXPRESS YOURSELF

Sometimes the only thing there is time for is resistbot. But when you can, remember the power of your voice, your words. Keep reminding MoCs (and the staff they rely on) that we’re more than a “yes” or “no” in a database.

TAKE A DEEP BREATH

It was tough watching our President and his daughter represent us at the G20 Summit in Germany. He further isolated himself, and sadly the USA, by not standing with the Paris Climate Agreement. But states are stepping up, we can do little things to protect our planet – and the world sees us too.
